60 Seconds Outside the Rule
For C41 Magazine
In public space the body follows rules it was never taught, how to stand, how to wait, how to behave. This project reclaims one minute of the street as a playful interruption, a held pause in which the body refuses its trained posture before stepping back into the flow.
Shot by Lu Yu, the series draws on Erwin Wurm's One Minute Sculptures, treating the body as a temporary sculpture and everyday gesture as something that can be quietly altered. Through a one-minute game, it reimagines fashion as a framework for play.
Not rebellion, but a gentle misalignment. Sixty seconds outside the rule, then back into line.
