Hi I’m Alex. I was born in New York and I am Sri Lankan, Cuban, and Scottish. Coming from a racially/ethnically diverse background has shaped my view of the world, giving me an appreciation for ambiguity and the areas of life with blurred lines. I hope to change people’s perspective on what they know race and ethnicity to be, and I hold philosophy, social justice, fashion, and the practice of gratitude close to my heart. What I crave is to create art through fashion, and to have lived a fulfilling and impactful life full of different experiences.
